UDL
In July 2024, an update was released for the Universal Design for Learning Framework. The original framework was not abandoned rather it was expanded.
Here are some highlights of the major shifts:
- Easier to Understand
- Clarity of Meaning/Purpose
- Shift from Expert Learner to Learner Agency as the Goal
- Shift from checkpoints to considerations
- Shift in verb: Provide to Design
- Addition of "Joy"

The newest version of the framework is Guidelines 3.0
